NDHIN's Electronic Authorized User Agreement (eAUA) has been rolled out across the entire NDHIN landscape.  The paper process that was used previously involved printing, completing, scanning, and emailing and it also generated issues that caused delays and mistakes.  NDHIN is happy to have switched to an entirely electronic process that significantly reduces delays and mistakes; transforming the AUA process into just a few simple and easy steps.

NDHIN Participant Granting Authorities have been provided the eAUA link to distribute to their personnel who require NDHIN access.  Please watch the instructional video detailing the process and review instruction documents for both the granting authority and the user.

NDHIN created two sets of instructions as participants communicated their need for two different eAUA workflows. They are below.

The other document needed for this process is the email script that the granting authority provides to new users.  The script will have the link for the eAUA as well as the instructions to include the granting authority name and email at a specific step in the electronic workflow.

The process should take 5 - 6 business days, but sometimes it takes up to 10 business days.  If you have concerns about the status of your eAUA, please contact the NDHIN Help Desk at (844) 335-6253 ext. 1, or NDHINSupport@koblegroup.com.
