Health care providers participating with the NDHIN will be able to securely access a patient’s medical history from Mayo Clinic facilities through the eHealth Exchange by using the external records search option from the NDHIN clinical portal. NDHIN received the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Outcomes-Based Certification (OBC). 

NDHIN participating healthcare providers can now securely query a patient’s medical history from both DoD and VA facilities. 

Newborn Screening Care Coordination Module.

NDHIN teamed up with the North Dakota Newborn Screening (NBS) Program to launch a new module that supports long-term follow-up services for children diagnosed with genetic and metabolic disorders. Enrollment into the program is triggered by confirmed positive results to lab tests performed at birth.
